autonoME Residential
The autonoME Residential is a home-based assistive technology system from Accessibility Services, Inc. (ASI) that combines environmental control, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and computer access in a single 13-inch tablet for individuals with severe physical disabilities. Users control items in the home, including hospital beds, televisions, lights, doors, and thermostats, using eye gaze, head tracking, sip-and-puff, voice commands, or touch. The package includes a command center with Z-Wave modules, a wireless alert chime, on-site installation, and ongoing technical support. Veterans who meet Veterans Administration (VA) eligibility requirements may receive an autonoME Residential through VA benefits.
