Take Me Out to the Lou Gehrig Day Ballgame

Lou Gehrig Day is Sunday, June 2nd and Team ASI wants to know, which MLB team will you be rooting for this year!

What is Lou Gehrig Day?

Every year on June 2nd, Major League Baseball (MLB) honors Lou Gehrig Day. Why June 2nd? We had to ask a sports history buff! June 2nd marks the anniversary of when Gehrig became the Yankees’ starting first baseman, and the start of his incredible 2,130 game streak.

Honoring his memory and bringing awareness to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS.)
