The autonoME system uses a multitude of input methods, allowing users to choose the method that suits their needs best at any given time.
One of the most popular inputs available is Voice Access. Voice Access allows autonoME users to navigate their device (web browsing, making phone calls, or accessing games and popular apps), and control their environment using simple commands and the microphone of their choosing.
When beginning Voice Access, Team ASI encourages users to complete the Configuration and User Training exercises. These quick exercises give the autonoME system the opportunity to learn a user’s specific voice patterns, creating a better, more accurate overall experience.
A step-by-step video User Guide is available here.
If you or the autonoME user are having difficulty reading the scripted prompt provided in the User Training, printable flash cards are available here.
